Description
Impressive 1923-S Standing Liberty Quarter Struck 25% Off Center
1923-S Quarter--Struck 25% Off Center--AU58 PCGS. This one is struck off center toward 10 o'clock on the obverse. Not only is this a great error, but this date and mint is very scarce. No signs of toning on this one, and it remains silvery-white with some luster in the fields. The date is drawn heavily by the off center striking, but it is obviously a 1923-S. Liberty's shield is sharply struck, but we don't know about her head as that part of the design is not present. From The Larry Rausch Collection, Part Two.(#5744) (Registry values: N991)
