Rare Error 1929-S Standing Liberty Quarter
1929-S 25C Quarter--Partial Collar Strike--MS 62 PCGS. This coin was properly produced everywhere except the lower obverse, where the planchet did not press against the collar. As a result, the devices in that area are distended and somewhat ill-defined. The strike is also typically soft over Liberty's head, but the luster is bright and frosty beneath delicate golden iridescence.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2444, PCGS# 5776, GSID# 5605)
Weight: 6.25 grams
