Description
Broadstruck Mint State 1934-D Dime
1934-D 10C Dime--Uncentered Broadstrike--MS61 PCGS. A satiny piece with the expected sharp strike in the centers. The legends across the borders are bold but lightly distorted. The rim is widest at 9 o'clock, and has a nearly normal appearance at 3 o'clock. Only the faintest slide marks on Liberty's cheek prevent a higher grade. Struck from clashed dies, with mint-made incused lines from the olive branch in the field near Liberty's nose.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23JB, PCGS# 4990, GSID# 4577)
Weight: 2.49 grams
