10% Off Center MS66 1937 Buffalo Nickel
1937 5C Buffalo Nickel--10% Off Center--MS66 PCGS. Moderately off center toward 11 o'clock, with a broad area of unstruck surface opposite near 5 o'clock. The strike is razor-sharp in the centers, since the collar die was not present to limit the approach of the obverse and reverse dies. The bison's tail is stretched due to collar-unrestrained metal flow. Lustrous and nearly untoned with a few inconsequential gray flecks.From The Vanek Collection.
