Description
1942 Cent on a Silver Dime, MS63
Wartime 11-Cent Piece
1942 1C Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet -- MS63
PCGS. 2.5 gm. A trace of golden toning adorns this lustrous
wartime wrong planchet mint error. Marks are confined to faint
grazes on the right obverse field. Due to the undersized flan, the
strike shows incompleteness on expected areas, such as the shoulder
and the O in ONE. Aligned with the collar at 12 o'clock, such that
IN GOD WE TRUST is compete while E PLURIBUS UNUM is partly off the
flan.
