Description
1943-D Cent on an Aussie Sixpence Flan
1943-D 1C Lincoln Cent--Struck on an Australian Sixpence Planchet--AU50 ANACS. Lustrous surfaces suggest a higher technical grade, but because of the undersized planchet, the strike is soft on Lincoln's shoulder, ONE, and AMERICA. Lightly toned in golden-brown and apple-green freckles. All off metal cents from 1943 are coveted for their affinity with the famous bronze 1943 cents. From The Dale A. Konigsburg Collection.
