Description
1943-D Nickel, on an
Australia Sixpence Planchet, AU58
1943-D 5C Jefferson Nickel -- Struck on an Australia Sixpence
Planchet -- AU58 PCGS. In 1943, the Denver Mint coined 8
million sixpence for Australia. The Australia sixpence (KM-38) is
2.82 gm and 925 Fine silver. This lightly circulated example is
well centered and has complete peripheral legends, though they
exhibit stretching toward the rim customary for a wrong planchet
error.From The Geyer Family Collection.
