Description
Unusual 1943 Cent on a Dime Planchet
VG Details
1943 Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Dime Planchet, Altered Surface
-- NCS. VG Details. 2.5 gm. Certainly an unusual error, this is
a well-worn 1943 Lincoln cent with a gray appearance of bright
silver rather than the dullness of steel. The surface texture is
"off" due to an unknown alteration and the wear-striking patterns
are radically uneven, but this is an error that offers plenty of
intrigue.
