AU 1943 Cent on a Dime Planchet
1943 Lincoln Cent--Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet--AU50 PCGS. If this 1943 cent were struck on a bronze cent planchet, it would sell for tens of thousands of dollars. Instead, this wrong planchet, off metal mint error was struck on a 90% silver dime flan, yet remains an affordable conversation piece. Toned deep cream-gray with no relevant marks and slight wear on the portrait highpoints.
