Silver Dime Planchet
1943 Lincoln Cent -- Struck on Silver Dime Planchet -- AU50
NGC. 2.5 gm. A nearly brilliant example of this scarce wartime
off-metal error combination. The 1943 bronze cent is a famous and
costly error, but a 1943 cent on a dime planchet is considerably
more collectible, though also rare. The present piece shows
moderate wear on the portrait high points and a test mark between
