Fascinating 1943-P Nickel Struck on a Type One
    Steel Cent Planchet

1943-P Jefferson Nickel--Struck on a Type One Steel Cent Planchet--MS64 NGC. An amazingly lustrous steel-white example of this one-year-only error type, wherein a 1943-P war nickel was struck on a blank (without upset rim) meant for steel cent production. The date and mintmark are visible in their entirety, though certain elements at the left periphery on each side are partly cut off.
