    1943-S Cent, AU58
Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet

1943-S 1C Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet -- AU58 PCGS. Always an interesting year for error coins due to the ever heightened interest in the '43 copper cents. Struck on a silver dime planchet, this piece saw just a hint of circulation before its rescue. The coin is well-struck in the centers but weak around portions of the borders. E PLURIBUS UNUM is mostly off of the flan. Traces of gold color grace the silvery, lustrous surfaces. Scarce as an off-metal error.
Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 5/2004), lot 11426.

When it came to selling my coin collection I decided they were my first and only choice. They never disappoint. Excellent prices when selling through their auctions and you don’t even have to put any reserves on any coins. Simply the biggest company but more importantly the best.
