1944 25C Washington Quarter--Struck on 5C Planchet--MS62 NGC. 5.0 grams. Sky-blue and yellow-green hues enrich this refreshingly unabraded wrong planchet error. The date is full, although LIBERTY and QUARTER DOLLAR are partly off the flan. Quarters struck on wartime alloy Five Cent planchets are undoubtedly very elusive.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2458, PCGS# 5824, Greysheet# 5625)
