    Description

    1944-D Cent, MS65
    Struck on a Dime Planchet

1944-D 1C Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet -- MS65 PCGS. The date and mintmark are unmistakable on this lustrous and unabraded off-metal Gem. Light lilac and straw-gold patina visits bright surfaces. The strike is intermittently soft though CENT and the right reverse are sharp. Aligned with the collar at 5:30 to the detriment of E PLURIBUS UNUM, which is mostly absent.
