1944-D 50C Walking Liberty half dollar--Struck-in silver obverse--MS64 PCGS. A small piece of silver was resting on the planchet when it entered the coining chamber, and this piece of silver than became a part of the coin as it was struck into the rest of the planchet. This example is fully lustrous and Choice.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24SD, PCGS# 6622, GSID# 6757)
