Description
1953 5C Jefferson Nickel--Struck Thru Reverse--MS65 NGC. The reverse die was partly obstructed by thin layers of an unknown material, possibly copper-nickel alloy scrap. Most of Monticello is featureless, due to the significant strike-thru error. Lustrous, brilliant, and well preserved.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22UN, PCGS# 4049, GSID# 3190)
