Double Struck 1955 Franklin Half MS64
1955 Franklin Half--Double Struck, Second Strike 95% Off Center--MS64 PCGS. The first strike was normal, but the second strike is 95% off center, at 6:30 relative to the first strike. The second strike shows only the obverse field, and is uniface since a newly fed planchet blocked the reverse die for the second strike. Lightly toned and lustrous with smooth fields and moderate marks on the devices. A low mintage date.
