Gem 1956 Quarter on a Cent Flan
1956 25C Washington Quarter--Struck on a Cent Planchet--MS65 Brown NGC. 3.08 gm. An unabraded Gem with rich apple-green and fire-red toning. The date is complete but distorted by metal flow. LIBERTY and QUARTER DOLLAR are completely absent, due to the much smaller diameter of the cent flan. A scarce wrong planchet combination; cents on dime planchets are comparatively plentiful.Auction Info
