On a Silver Dime Planchet
1956-D 1C Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet --
MS62 PCGS. Ex: Fred Weinberg Collection. A virtually brilliant
silver cent that displays vibrant luster and minimal signs of
contact. Well centered for this wrong planchet combination, though
the L in LIBERTY is weak, and the tops of E PLURIBUS are off the
flan. The date and mintmark are bold. Our online auction archives
show only seven prior appearances of silver 1956-D cents, including
