Description
1957 Lincoln Cent, MS63
On a Silver Dime Planchet
1957 1C Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet -- MS63
PCGS. Ex: Fred Weinberg Collection. A satiny representative of
the elusive cent-on-dime planchet off-metal mint error. Brilliant
save for a blush of tan-brown toning on the reverse exergue. Marks
are limited to a line above the stem of the left wheat ear.
Peripheral elements are softly struck, though CENT and UNITED
STATES are sharp. From The Fred Weinberg Collection.
