Description
1958 Lincoln Cent, MS63
on a Cuban Centavo Planchet
1958 1C Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Cuban Centavo Planchet --
MS63 PCGS. In 1958, Cuba outsourced the production of
copper-nickel centavos (KM-30) to their northwest neighbor, the
United States. One of those planchets was struck between Lincoln
cent dies, aligned with the collar at 3 o'clock. IN GOD WE and the
LI in LIBERTY are absent, while TRUST and PLURIBUS are blurry and
partial. The date is bold and complete. A satiny and unabraded
silver-gray example.
