    1959 Franklin Half Dollar
    MS64 Full Bell Lines
    Struck on a Quarter Flan

1959 50C Franklin Half Dollar -- Struck on a Quarter Planchet -- MS64 Full Bell Lines NGC. 6.2 gm. Type One Reverse. The Liberty Bell is fully present, but on the obverse, LIBERTY is absent altogether. Appropriately, only a trace of the denomination is on the flan. A brilliant, lustrous, and unmarked near-Gem. There is no indication of a raised rim. A visually impressive and high-grade example of this desirable wrong planchet combination.
