Franklin Half on a Struck Cent
MS65 Red and Brown
196?-D 50C Franklin Half--Struck on a Struck Cent--MS65 Red and
Brown NGC. This off-metal mint error is richly toned in
cobalt-blue and cherry-red. All of the mintmark is present, as are
the first three date digits. E PLURIBUS UNUM is also intact, but
the remaining legends are completely off the flan. Traces of the
Lincoln cent undertype are evident within Franklin's hair.
