1960 Large Date Lincoln Cent With
Mirror Brockage Reverse, MS62 Brown

1960 1C Large Date Lincoln Cent MS62 Brown--Mirror Brockage on Reverse--NGC. The obverse has the appearance of an ordinary 1960 cent, but the reverse shows an incused and reversed image of the obverse. The reverse is a 100%, early strike brockage. It was struck between the obverse die and the obverse of a previously struck cent (not included) that clung to the reverse die. The brockage is somewhat softly impressed, but several letters and digits in LIBERTY and the date are bold. Toned chocolate-brown with glimpses of orange-gold.
