Near-Mint 1962 Nickel Struck on a Dime Planchet
1962 5C Jefferson Nickel--Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet--AU58 PCGS. Violet and pale gold patina appears on this mint error. The tiny fragments of the date are enough to identify, though the space where the mintmark would be is off the planchet. Lustrous with light friction that blends with the requisite soft strike.(Registry values: N1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22VC, PCGS# 4071, Greysheet# 3208)
