1962-D Franklin Half Dollar Error, Struck on a Quarter Planchet
1962-D 50C Half Dollar--Struck on a Quarter Planchet--MS63 Full Bell Lines NGC. The impression is basically centered on the Quarter planchet with the result that both the date are mintmark are clear and sharply defined. Both sides are golden tinged with pleasing luster quality and a few grade-defining abrasions in the centers. There is also a tiny whisper of color over Franklin's forehead.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24TS, PCGS# 86683, GSID# 6857)
