1964 Lincoln Cent, MS65 Red and Brown
    Triple Struck, Obverse Die Cap

1964 1C Lincoln Cent -- Triple Struck, Obverse Die Cap -- MS65 Red and Brown NGC. This triple-struck cent widely rotated between strikes. The second and third strikes overlapped a majority of the first strike, but the top of Lincoln's head is apparent, as is the lower right corner of the Lincoln Memorial and several letters in the reverse legend. The third strike obliterated the right half of the second strike, but portions of Lincoln's head, LIBERTY, and IN GOD WE TRUST are present. The third strike shows a complete obverse design, but the reverse is a jumble of blurry design elements, since the reverse die was blocked by newly fed planchets or portions of previously struck coins.
