Description
Near-Gem 1964 Kennedy Half
Struck on a Silver Quarter Planchet
1964 50C Kennedy Half--Struck on a Silver Quarter Planchet--MS64
PCGS. Type Two Reverse. The eagle is perfectly centered, but
the peripheral legends are partly to fully absent. About 50% of the
date is visible, as is all of the mintmark area. This lustrous
near-Gem mint error has golden-brown and chestnut-gray toning.
Appears a Type One planchet, but the holder makes it difficult to
see the rim.
