1964-D 1C Lincoln Cent--Struck on a Bowtie-Clipped Planchet--MS63 Red and Brown NGC. 0.53 gm. The dramatically underweight bowtie flan somehow made it between cent dies, then past riddlers designed to screen out such errors. A majority of the design is absent, but fortune smiled on the strike, and both the date and mintmark are complete.Auction Info
