Description
1964-D Cent on a Silver Dime Planchet
Strongly Lustrous AU55
1964-D Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Silver Dime Planchet -- AU55
PCGS. One of the last opportunities to errantly strike a coin
on a silver dime planchet was taken by this error, a modestly
rubbed but still amply lustrous 1964-D cent. The date and mintmark
are complete, though the 4 is fanned out. The L of LIBERTY is cut
off.Seller is donating 100% of their proceeds, and Heritage is donating 100% of the Buyer's Premium, from the sale of this lot to the National Numismatic Collection at the Smithsonian Institution. See page 3 for details.
