Description

1964-D Roosevelt Dime--Double Struck, Second Strike 70% Off Center--MS61 PCGS. A dramatic error with the second strike well rotated away from the first, with the date firmly planted virtually upside down as compared to the first strike. There are some rim scrapes probably from the complexity of ejecting this coin from the press, and these account for the grade. Final year of issue of the silver days, with the new sandwich metal coins making their debut in 1965.
