Description
1965 Roosevelt Dime, AU55
Struck on a Silver Planchet
1965 10C Roosevelt Dime -- Struck on Silver Planchet -- AU55
ANACS. An important transitional error, struck on a leftover
silver planchet from 1964. The strike is weak around the borders on
this piece, suggesting it was an early strike produced during the
die spacing process, which would easily account for the silver
planchet's presence. Luster emits from the fields, complementing
light golden toning overall. From The Errorpalooza Collection.
