Description
Undated 25C Washington Quarter--Off Center on Clad Layer--MS 63 ANACS. This planchet was first struck 60% off center at 6 o'clock. Thereafter, the upper clad layer broke away from the copper core with the result that only one side of this piece displays a sharply struck obverse impression. The reverse side exhibits a blurred, mirrored image of this impression.
