Description
1969-D 50C Kennedy Half--Double Struck, Second Strike Flipover, 85% Off Center--AU58 NGC. The first strike was normal. Struck a second time 85% off center, but the 69 in the date is present on the second strike, which is uniface obverse because a fed planchet (not included) blocked the reverse die. The coin flipped between strikes. The second strike is toward 10:30, and is located at 10:30 relative to the reverse of the first strike.Auction Info
