1971 $1 Eisenhower Dollar--3% Triple Clip Planchet--MS64 PCGS. The obverse has a moderate clip at 10 o'clock that impacts the I in LIBERTY. Two other clips, at 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock, are smaller in size. The clips, of course, occurred prior to the strike. IN GOD WE TRUST is slightly distorted as metal flowed toward the path of least resistance, which was the incomplete edge. The coin itself has an above average strike, moderate luster, slate-gray color, and a few insignificant abrasions.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2584, PCGS# 7406, GSID# 7913)
