    Description

1971-D 50C Kennedy Half Dollar -- Struck on a Cent Planchet -- MS62 Red and Brown PCGS. Ruby-red and orange-gold fields complement olive-green devices. A pleasing wrong planchet mint error. The mintmark is bold. The date is lightly brought up, but all four digits are apparent. The denomination and LIBERTY are absent. The profile is sharp though the central reverse shows softness. No marks are readily evident.
