1973-D Quarter, MS65 Red
Struck on a Cent Planchet
1973-D 25C Washington Quarter -- Struck on a Cent Planchet --
MS65 Red NGC. 3.06 gm. Well centered within the dies, favoring
Washington and the eagle. The peripheral legends are partial but
the upper half of the date is present, as is all of the mintmark.
Appropriately, most of QUARTER DOLLAR is off the flan. A lustrous
orange-gold Gem with occasional glimpses of plum-red and blue-green
on the reverse.
