Description

Gem 1973-D Quarter on a Cent Planchet

1973-D Quarter--Struck on a Cent Planchet--MS65 PCGS. No color category assigned by PCGS, but a Red and Brown example with varying degrees of copper-orange, rose-violet, and mahogany. The small planchet has resulted in cut-offs on the peripheral elements, including the date, but enough of the date is present to identify, and the Denver mintmark is intact. Well-preserved and fascinating.
