1973-S 25C Washington Quarter Dollar -- Clashed Dies Obverse & Reverse -- PR68 PCGS. This lot also includes a: 1973-S 25C Washington Quarter Dollar -- Struck on Clad 10C Planchet, Same Clashed Dies Obverse & Reverse -- PR68 PCGS. Housed together in a PCGS holder. An intriguing error coin duo, struck from clashed proof dies. One of the clashed pieces is on the expected quarter planchet, while the other is struck on a proof dime planchet. The wrong planchet error is struck off center, with LIBERTY and the denomination off the flan. Both pieces are brilliant and well-defined.Auction Info
