Description
1974-D 1C Lincoln Cent--Obverse Die Break--MS65 Brown NGC. A huge die break consumes the obverse border from 11:30 to 2 o'clock, removing WE TRUST from the design in addition to much of Lincoln's forehead. As expected, the reverse border is deeply sunken opposite of the break, since metal flowed to the break during the strike. A golden-brown piece with occasional aqua-blue hues.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 2972, Greysheet# 312855)
