Desirable 1974 Eisenhower Dollar Error, MS64
Struck on a Half Dollar Planchet
1974 Eisenhower Dollar--Struck on a Half Dollar Planchet--MS64
PCGS. Though the half dollar planchet was large, it was not
nearly large enough to accommodate the entire Eisenhower design; as
a result, the entirety of LIBERTY on the obverse and half the date,
as well as AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR on the reverse, are off the flan.
A lustrous and dramatic error.
