Description
1976 $1 Type Two Eisenhower Dollar--Reverse Indented by a Quarter Planchet--MS64 PCGS. An interesting piece, this example was struck with a Quarter planchet between the lower reverse and the anvil die. The result is an otherwise complete Eisenhower Dollar impression with an indented area on the reverse from the Quarter planchet. Although understandably weak, part of the reverse motif can be seen at the base of the indentation. The surfaces are generally golden-gray in color with a few wispy abrasions throughout.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# B76M, PCGS# 7419, GSID# 7920)
