1976-S Silver Washington Quarter, PR64
Double Struck, 180-Degree Die Rotation
1976-S 25C Silver Washington Quarter Dollar -- Double Struck &
Rotated 180° -- PR64 PCGS. Medallic die alignment, with the
reverse rotated about 180 degrees from normal relative to the
obverse. The coin is also double struck and rotated in collar, with
the secondary strike rotated about 135 degrees counterclockwise
from the primary. Portions of the design are obscured by the double
strike on each side. Brilliant surfaces are reflective, with no
mentionable contact marks.
