Struck 20% Off Center
1978 $1 Eisenhower Dollar -- Struck 20% Off Center -- MS62
NGC. Nicely off-center toward 12 o'clock, this final-year Ike
dollar has a mostly intact portrait and eagle, but the denomination
is off the flan, as is nearly all of LIBERTY. The date is complete
and bold. Lightly toned and lustrous without any sign of
consequential contact. Impressive mint errors are scarce on this
obsolete series, which was coined for only eight years.
