Description
1979 50C Half Dollar--Struck on Anthony Dollar Planchet--MS64 ICG. 8.07 grams. A lustrous and boldly struck near-Gem with clean surfaces and a crisp strike in the centers. The lower half of the date and the tops of the letters in some of the other legends are off the flan, which was not wide enough to fill the Half Dollar dies.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24US, PCGS# 6735, Greysheet# 6920)
