Description
1979-D 10C Roosevelt Dime--Triple Struck, One Strike Flipover--MS64 PCGS. The first strike was double-sided, but was apparently already a mint error since the rim appears irregular. Struck a second time 70% off center toward 2 o'clock, at 12 o'clock relative to the first strike. The second strike is uniface obverse. The third strike was a uniface obverse flipover, 60% off center toward 2:30, at 2 o'clock relative to the reverse of the first strike. The date and mintmark is present on the first strike, and the second strike has a partial date.
