Description
Select 1980-P Kennedy Half Dollar
Struck on a Foreign Planchet
1980-P Kennedy Half-Struck on a Foreign Planchet--MS63 NGC.
7.5 grams. This example is struck on a planchet for a foreign coin.
Given its olive and golden-brown color, with splashes of steel and
hints of orange luster, it is some type of copper-based material.
The strongest possibility is the copper-nickel-zinc Haiti 50
centimes, struck at Philadelphia in 1979.
