Description

MS66 Dual-Denomination Error
1981 Cent on a 1981-P Dime

1981 Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a 1981-P Dime -- MS66 PCGS. Whether due to a strong undertype or a weak cent striking, this dual-denomination error is a mass of glorious confusion. The laurel branch of the dime covers Lincoln's eyes, while flame and oak overlap much of the jacket. The reverse is a similarly jumbled affair, though the date on the dime undertype is plain here.
