Description
1992-P 25C Washington Quarter--Struck on Dime Thickness Planchet--MS64 NGC. 4.3 grams. Struck on a planchet cut from stock intended for Dimes, thus the planchet has a quarter diameter and dime thickness. A normal 1992-P Quarter weighs 5.67 grams, a normal 1992-P Dime weighs 2.27 grams. Softly struck, as expected, the mintmark is not readily evident. A pinscratch is at 4 o'clock.From The Lonnie Gray Collection of Error Coins.
