Description

1995 $50 One-Ounce Gold Eagle -- Struck-Through Reverse -- MS69 PCGS Secure. A triangle-shaped strike-through, 4 x 5 mm, is concealed within the branch near the nesting eagles. A pristine bullion coin with pale peach-gold color, vibrant luster, and a full strike. A small, thin piece of foreign material, such as the peel from a sanding disc, apparently rested between planchets in a chute, and was fed with a planchet between dies.
